Dedicated van for freight to Switzerland.

On Friday we loaded a dedicated van with two pallets for express delivery to Switzerland.

We collected the cargo from Royston Hertfordshire on Friday lunchtime and our van arrived in Switzerland this morning to await customs clearance after the Whitsun holiday.

Are invoices required to send freight to Guernsey?

As experts in freight to Guernsey, we are often asked if exporters are required to provide commercial invoices for shipments to Guernsey.

Guernsey is not part of the UK, it has a separate parliament and is what's known as a British Crown Dependancy.  Guernsey is also not a member of the EU.

In answer to the question, invoices will be required for export to Guernsey if the goods are not in free circulation of the EU.

Generally for shipments that ARE in free circulation (i.e. haven't come from outside the EU) do not require commercial invoices.

Shipping a pallet to Sweden for delivery on a tail lift van

This week we are collecting a pallet in Berkshire for delivery to Viken in Sweden.

The pallet contains a bespoke timber sash window frame and is for delivery to a property in Viken - which is in the Helsingborg area of Sweden.

The customer contacted us as they required fast shipping and guaranteed delivery on a small van with a tail lift on a particular day this month.

We liaised with our agents in Sweden and have arranged to deliver the pallet on a transit sized van with a tail lift so that the pallet can be lowered to the ground outside the property.
